Effective January 1, 2006, the only Macintosh operating system that Designer Software will support will be Mac OS X 10.2 and higher.

What this means for you is simply this: if you are using an older operating system, such as Mac OS X 10.1, 10.0, OS 9, or OS 8, we will not be able to help you with problems that are specific to your operating system.

WeaveMaker will only be tested on Mac OS X 10.3 and higher.

This does not mean that no help will be available if you are on an older operating system. If you experience problems with WeaveMaker we will attempt to resolve them. Only if those problems turn out to be specific to your operating system will we not attempt to resolve them. Most problems are not related to the specific version of the operating system.

Generally speaking, problems that are operating system dependent include printing, especially printer drivers, and serial ports, such as are used to control dobby looms.

Please let us know how these planned changes will affect you. We don't want to abandon customers! But we also need to move forward.
